Acorny

Pricing

Acorny is free during public beta.

Use Acorny to save highlights, import your existing library, create recall cards, and review with spaced repetition without paying during the beta period. The goal of beta pricing is to make the product easy to try with real reading data while the workflow, imports, and review experience continue to improve.

What is included

Save unlimited beta highlights

Capture passages from webpages with the browser extension and keep them in your Acorny library during beta.

Import from existing tools

Bring in highlights from supported sources such as Readwise, Instapaper, Cubox, Diigo, and compatible reader exports.

Review with active recall

Turn saved passages into recall prompts and review them on a spaced repetition schedule so ideas come back before they fade.

What happens after beta?

If Acorny introduces paid plans later, existing users will receive advance notice before pricing changes take effect. Highlights saved before a pricing change will not be locked behind a paywall. You will still be able to access and review the material you already added to your library.

Future paid plans may apply to new usage or advanced features such as higher import limits, cloud sync enhancements, AI-assisted recall card generation, advanced search, team workflows, or larger storage and automation limits. The exact plan structure will be published before billing starts so beta users can make an informed decision.

There is no subscription to cancel during beta because the beta plan costs $0. If paid plans launch, cancellation and export paths will be documented before charges begin. Acorny is designed around the principle that your highlights are your knowledge, and export access matters even if your workflow changes later.

Pricing FAQ

Do I need a credit card?

No. You can create an account and use the public beta without entering payment information.

Will beta users get a transition path?

Yes. Existing users will receive advance notice and a more favorable transition path than brand-new users if paid plans are introduced.

Can I keep using Acorny for imports and review?

Yes during beta. You can save highlights, import supported sources, and review with spaced repetition while the beta remains open.

How should I evaluate the beta?

Use real reading material for a week, then judge whether capture, import, recall, and review feel useful enough for your workflow.
